"Photo Dump"

I was downloading pictures tonight to finish up my 2014 photos for this blog, and was shocked to realize how many pictures I have taken! It is actually alittle overwhelming trying to stay on top of capturing these precious, fleeting, every-day moments of our lives, but I am committed to this. It is not a stressful task at all, in fact, it's quite joyful for me. But, the amount of pictures can be somewhat overwhelming! I am several posts behind, so tonight I am catching up. I hope that our children (and us), will one day look back at our lives and see the joy that exists in all of our eyes, even in the midst of so much personal brokenness. This Christmas season held much more meaning for me personally for many reasons, and I have continued dwelling on the fact that Emmanuel is here NOW, with me, with my family, with my friends, in all of our hurt and brokenness. My heart feels like writing much more tonight about all of this, but since 1,000 pictures are waiting for me to figure out what to do with them, I think I will save my writing for another night!  More on that to come.......

Random pictures below before Christmas:

Frosty in the backyard, and Ellison in her summer outfit. That's an Alabama December for you!

Much needed break away with my love

I loved seeing her wear all of my Christmas dresses from when I was a little girl.

Fun outside!
