"Christmas Fun and Santa"......

Sweetest, most gentle and kind Santa I have ever met!

He was so affectionate with the kids..., not in a creepy way, just so sweet.  You could tell he really loved them and loved doing this for them!

Look at him moving her hair back!

PRECIOUS!

Fun with gingerbread houses

My vote is on Santa #1 !!

Kind Santa nonetheless - think his eggnog was spiked!!!

We stumbled on this house that was decorated.  We were not planning on getting out of the car this night, but saw this house and the kids begged us to stop and get out. They were already dressed in their PJs, but we stopped anyway and let them get out. It was well worth the stop - there was even a karaoke machine set up on the driveway and before I realized it, my "shy singer" Elijah, picked up the microphone and was singing, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"!  None of us could believe it! He did awesome, and I was so proud of him for doing this and for his courage!  Maybe it helped that it wasn't my idea!

"More seasonal pictures...."

It's Christmas concert time for Mommy!  I have sung in many concerts this season, and the kids are finally old enough to attend most of the concerts. This particular one was my chamber chorus, along with the ballet, so the kids especially enjoyed coming to this performance.

I had a solo in this one, so it was fun for the kids to get to come hear the live performance after hearing me practice at home for the last month.  They were tired of hearing it I know!

Another performance day - but this time, Daddy was the one performing!  Being a pastor, he was asked to play the role of the "English Vicar", in "A Christmas Carol"!   This was his very first performance, and he said he was very glad to have it behind him.  He was SO nervous, although he did absolutely amazing.  If I had not known, I would have thought he was one of the professional actors and not just some local guy stepping in!

So silly!

She was pretending to be a mouse creeping??  She is a nut.

Post-performance family picture

She loves her Daddy so much. Says nearly every day she wants to marry him.

After the performance at church - Elijah's children's choir sang in this one.  He did a fabulous job. The boy has music running through his veins! He gets anxious to get up in front of people, but he always does a fabulous job.

Grocery shopping with baby "Anna"

Fun making "snow dough" with mommy

At a Christmas dinner, she "discovered" (snooped and found), this costume and presented herself to us!!

"More random I-phone pics...."

Unseasonably warm fall day

out taking a walk, light saber in hand of course

Rabbit going along for a ride, wearing a butterfly headband, and a swimsuit!

This trooper has had some recent dental work that has taken multiple appointments!  She is so used to going now, she doesn't complain about it at all!  She just hops up in the chair without me and is truly a champ.  Her mouth is so numb in this picture, but I had to snap it anyway!

Killing time in carpool line waiting for brother

Not sure she was happy about me taking her picture this time :)

More carpool line time killers!

Fun at the park

Sweet friends!

Supportive cousins watching Christmas plays

Jay had the privilege of preaching a wedding at the beach a few months ago - and we got a 24 hour date out of it!  Not nearly long enough, but I will take it!

This sweet boy finally got the hang of tying his shoes! This was a big day!
