"Summer Storm Fun...."

Lately, we have been having many late afternoon thunderstorms. They do not last very long, but definitely come with a downpour. Most afternoons I have no idea what to do with the kids to entertain them (and Ellison still naps until about 3:30 so it makes it hard to go anywhere late in the day), so on days like this once the thunder stops, swimsuits come on, backdoor opens, and I just let em' go wild and free!

I love good, cheap entertainment, and we usually make many memories in the process!

This gives a whole new meaning to "dancing in the rain".  Such symbolism.  She was happier than I have ever seen her, dancing, twirling, and spinning until she was dizzy...., all the while saying, "Mommy, come dance with me"...., and so I did.

He was having a blast too - obviously!

May be one of my favorite pictures of them together!

Nothing like a warm bubble bath and PJ's after splashing in the cool muddy water!

"Alittle behind....."

Somehow I managed to miss posting some end of the school year fun.  So, here is alittle catch-up.

Last soccer game

Walking into brother's end of the year school play with Gammy and Pop Pop, who drove all the way from South Carolina for the weekend activities

Needing a haircut badly, but how this picture melts my heart!  This is his last day of preschool. How did we get here already?

Ellison wanted to wear her backpack into school too and be like her big brother.

Nothing like having a son......

and a daughter........, never in my wildest dreams would I have ever imagined I would have been so blessed.

Ellison greeting Bebe and E-daddy at brother's last game. We had a great weekend having all 4 grandparents able to celebrate so many fun activities with us.

EB accepting his reward for his memory work on Promotion Sunday

He was asked to accompany his Sunday School class (ages 4 and 5 year olds), on his guitar while they sang , "Jesus Loves Me" on Promotion Sunday.  He did amazing, and we were so proud of him for doing this.
