I haven't posted pictures in over a month, since Elijah's 5th birthday. I will do another post about Christmas happenings later, but wanted to catch up on some of the fun - normal - days that we have together. I am more and more thankful for "normal" days the older I get. Nothing is really "normal" about my family's life anymore, but I know my sister would be telling me to savor these "normal" times with my children..., even the ones that make me want to pull my hair out by the end of the day! She would tell me to take it all in, slow down, breathe deep, learn to say "yes" to the important, and "no" to the unimportant. Her voice lingers in my head and my heart all day.......

| I love her face - like "what is he doing"? |
| Sweet love. Elliot was right, she told me I would be giving Elijah Brooks his best friend for life. |

| Wild and crazy! |

| Sunday morning before church. She is holding my baby doll from childhood. My mom made both my dress and my doll's dress to match. |
| Watch out world! Only in Alabama do you wear a short-sleeve dress to church one day, and the next day you have on gloves, jacket, and tobogan. |
| First time to wear gloves and she loved them! |
| They were having a blast. And the faster her pushed her, the happier she was. She's going to be a fun little girl to raise..., and I think I will spend most of her days on my knees in prayer! |

| These are the moments I am trying to etch in my heart and my mind |

| Taekwondo Testing # 2. He is currently a yellow belt, and was testing for his green belt. |
| He wanted to wear his "Cheetah" costume to Walmart. We let him. Elliot would also tell me, "pick your battles"! |
