"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the JOY set before Him endured the cross scorning its shame". Hebrews 12:1,2

"Time"....
It hit me tonight, time does not heal - only God heals. I cannot rely on time to be my healer when it comes to the loss of my sister. As we all continue to battle through our grief, and some days it truly is a battle, we are determined to keep breathing - to keep pushing through this - to keep living - and to eventually begin thriving again, rather than merely surviving. But time is not going to make these things happen when we want them to or expect them to....., or when the "world expects" them to. I am not so naive or unwise as to believe that time will not help us in some way - I believe that it will - but I am not going to go as far as to say that "time will heal". I am not going to give time that much credit. There is only One Healer, and He does not work on a time table. Any healing that is taking place in my heart now, and that will take place in the future is not the work of time....., it is the mysterious, yet powerful work my Healer, Jehovah Rapha, "The God who Heals".
