"11 Months"....

Happy 11 months sweet Ellison, and Merry 1st Christmas!  You continue to light up our lives with your infectious smile and hilarious personality. You also continue to keep us on our toes as you are one very busy little girl - always on a mission! You love everything and everyone - you will stand on the driveway and wave at the cars going by or people walking on the street and say, "Hi". So far, you haven't met a stranger. You are a climber (already - I am in trouble), and will find a way to get what you want. You have also figured out how to "escape" from your safety area in the living room and can be found right under my feet unknowingly to me!  You are a party girl, and always want to be right in the middle of the action.  You LOVE to "give love" - I think you know it makes us happy. You love to roll around all over us on the floor playing. Surprisingly, you haven't bothered the Christmas tree very much, although from time to time I will find you walking around the house shaking a jingle bell ornament. You adore your big brother, and he adores you. You talk constantly, and are really beginning to understand commands and concepts - "put in/take out", "come here" "want to go outside",  "ready to eat", "more", "all done", "let's go", "bring me books/toys etc.....", "walk to your bathtub/bedroom", etc......, and many more.  You still take 2 naps a day and sleep fairly well at night - still working through some nighttime issues. You have 8 teeth now!  You only drink from a sippy cup now - you are growing up way too fast little miss! Outside is your favorite place to be, so we try to stay out as often as we can. You don't care much for the swing - unlike your brother who would have stayed in it for days.  You much prefer to walk around and explore (and eat things you shouldn't)!

You look just like me in this picture......, and......

you look just like my sister in this picture.

Oh sweet girl, you have no idea how much you are loved, adored, and cherished - and how much happiness to bring to our aching hearts. Thank you for being in our lives and for being our daughter. One day, you will understand. We love you!
