"Trip # 1 to the Pumpkin Patch"!

We were invited to an adorable birthday party for the daughter of one of our sweet friends. The party was at the pumpkin patch, and was perfect in every way. We made such fun memories as a family, and I certainly hope the birthday girl had as much fun as her guests!

She was so proud of her boots!

This was her face upon being licked by a giant sheepdog!  This is my animal lover for sure!

Following behind big brother up a very steep, and very slippery, and very long slide.  I have said it since the beginning, this girl has no fear!  I think he was saying, "She's doing it" in this picture!

He was so happy to be sliding with her, and held her hand the whole way taking such good care of her.  Mommy on the other hand, was a nervous wreck at the bottom watching her climb up. I wasn't so worried about her coming down as I was her climbing up and losing her balance. This scene drew quite a crowd below as people were watching a 1 year old climb her way to the top and then come down with all smiles.  Then again, maybe it wasn't my kids that were drawing attention, but their mommy on the ground wincing LOUDLY with every step! I was kind of being ridiculous now that I think about it, but my gosh, my baby was on a giant slide!

I love this picture of him looking back at her!

Going up, again - and again- and again :).  The loud noises from mommy below continued.

This is definitely more my speed!

One has never met a more meticulous little boy picking out "just the perfect" pumpkin.  He had something very specific in mind, and would not stop until he found exactly what he was looking for.

Big brother picked on this little green one for Ellison - they were both so proud.

A giant tub of corn to play in never gets old

Think she found her pumpkin - and look at those pants and wet diaper!

I love this picture - but we did have a little chat about leaving the green pumpkins on the vine  :)

This was the "perfect" one he took home - and has now been carved into a ghost and is sitting on our kitchen table!

I am pretty sure I hate the cow train - but the kids love it!

Wet, muddy, happy!
