I posted a similar posts several months ago about Elijah Brooks' desire to marry me, but do not think I had any pictures. Well, this morning he asked if he could put on his suit (which I had to buy last winter for him to be the ring bearer in a family wedding) because he wanted to marry me again. Ellison decided to take a really long morning nap today, so it gave us plenty of time to spend time together. He got dressed in his suit (which is already too small and he wore it once), and chose his own shoes. He also wanted to choose his own wedding music, told me to find my own bouquet, and he went and found a ring. After taking a few "pre-wedding" pictures, it was time for the ceremony. He waited for me in front of his tent in his playroom, while I processed down the hallway. After the ceremony, he told me to hop in his car (which was the tent), and we were going on our honeymoon to South Carolina to see Gammy and Pop Pop!
It was absolutely precious, and I won't lie - there may have been a tear or two in my eyes as I processed down the hallway upstairs! After the ceremony, I let him watch mine and Jay's wedding (on VHS)!!! How's that for making a person feel old? He was pretty mesmerized by the video and especially enjoyed seeing and hearing his Aunt Elliot.
