"Farm and Fall Festival Pictures"

I am slightly behind on my posts recently, but since this is EB's scrapbook, I have to get on the ball and not get too far behind.  So, there are a bunch of posts recently for that reason.  I honestly thought this would be faster and easier than an actual scrapbook of pictures - maybe not so much!!  Oh, if only we all had a few extra minutes in our days!

Recently, my parents and I took Elijah Brooks and his cousins Wyatt and Bradford to the pumpkin patch. It poured down rain the whole time we were there, but we stuck it out.  The kids didn't care it was cold and rainy. The adults on the other hand, proved to be a different story!  We still had a great time, but boy did we have some dirty children when it was all over.  There were only about 10 kids there the whole morning, so I guess the positive side of this was that we didn't have to wait in line for anything!  When we were leaving, the sweet owner handed us "rainy day passes", so we actually were able to return for free!  Elijah Brooks asked me every day if "Mr. Golden Sun" was coming out and if we could go back.  It rained every day that week (1st trip was on a Monday), but Friday morning, he popped out of his bed and said, "Mr. Golden Sun is out so we can go back to the pumpkin patch"!  So, he and I loaded up that morning for a free, spur of the moment trip back to the farm.  It was a perfect day to be out at the farm - except we were dodging about 10 preschool groups that morning!!!!  Oh well, we still had a great morning together and made some great memories - and we tagged along with several school groups of people we didn't know.  Hey, you take what you get and just be thankful!
