I have been having fun playing around with my camera and trying to figure out what in the world I am doing with it. I have a dear friend who is helping me learn how to use it properly. I have a new found respect for photographers and what they have to do to get just the perfect shot when it comes to lighting, shadows, shutter speed etc.... I am such an amateur and am in the very early stages of learning about all of this, so I feel that any decent (or semi-decent) picture I get is purely luck. These aren't perfect pics by any means, but I at least captured the moment.

oh.my.word. the lighting on his face in that first one is AMAZING! so beautiful! i love the last one of his little curls too! you're doing great!
