This is a familiar scene in our house. The piano is in the office/cat room, but we try to keep the door closed as much as possible so that Elijah Brooks will not be found eating cat litter..., or cat throw-up. Wait a minute, he has already eaten that! Anyway, everyday he will sit in my lap and play the piano. However, the past several days I have walked into this scene. And let me just say, he's pretty darn good :)

Elijah I am so glad you played the Allegro first movement from the D Major Haydn Sonata. I told your Mom that you played for me in Montgomery in August and she didn't believe me. I told her you told me you memorized it over the last two months watching those Baby Eienstein videos with that music in the backgournd. Way to go little man. Love, E-Daddy
