"More Summer Fun"....

Another highlight of our summer is getting to go with my parents to my Dad's annual conference, which is usually at the beach or the bay (alternates years). This year, we were back at the beach, and we had a fabulous week. We were thrilled our niece and nephew were able to go with us for the entire week...., had such wonderful cousin time, and just good "play time".  We swam, rode bikes, ate incredibly well at so many receptions, the kids' bungee jumped, did the ropes courses, played putt putt golf, checked out an amazing "Blue Marlin" competition and saw the winner bring in an 850lb Blue Marlin (pretty unbelievable actually), and just enjoyed being together.

This big girl wanted to try the zip line for the first time!  Fearless I tell ya.  Always up for an adventure!

and this one chose to do back flips while the others were zip lining!

Could not have been more proud of this guy. He conquered his fears on this very high ropes course. His cousin Wyatt was a tremendous source of encouragement, and cheered for him and talked him through the entire course. Loved watching them work together as a team.

This got out of order somehow, but we were having a fun afternoon at my grandparents pond...., and yes, we are all 3 wearing my grandparents hats!!  It was over 100 degrees this day and I made the kids put on hats and this was all we had!

Father's Day (out of order too)??  So incredibly thankful for this man. Could not do life without you, nor would I ever want to.

I tried to take my own picture riding a bike - not a smart idea. Nearly crashed! But, I thought the sun's rays in the picture turned out pretty cool.

This boy's plate cracks me up!  The other's were eating chicken fingers, mac n' cheese and fruit. This guy went for it - full plate of crab legs, raw oysters, shrimp, and baked fish..., and ate every last bite!
