"Beach Trip # 1"

Since my sister's Homegoing on Memorial Day 4 years ago, we have started a tradition of going out of town each year over Memorial weekend with my parents. We feel it is very important to be together, to remember, to grieve, to celebrate, and to just "be"..., whatever that looks like for each person. There is no judgement from any of us to grieve a certain way, or to act a certain way. We truly give each other the freedom to walk through that difficult weekend however we each need to. God has been very kind to us every year, giving us specific remembrances, giving us courage and hope.
