Guess this post technically should be have been before the previous one. Oh well, doubt anyone cares! I am so glad that Jay's family was able to come for the weekend. They were able to see so many special things in one weekend. Enjoy the pictures.

His end of the year school program. It was a parade of bugs! I actually missed his program because I went to my nephew's special program in his classroom. I promised my sister that I would support her children as much as I could. I knew EB would be okay since I haven't missed anything he has done thus far and he understood perfectly. He knew I needed to be there for his cousin. He had his grandparents from SC at his program, and also 3 of his great-grandparents! What a blessing. |

He was a bumblebee :) |

Thank you "Miss Susan" for all you have done for our sweet boy during his 1st year of preschool! You have been such a blessing to our family. Thank you for nurturing him, and helping him grow in all areas of life. He has loved every minute and will miss you next year! |
 |
Granny Lowe, Gammy, and Pop Pop, came all the way from South Carolina to support his big weekend! |
 |
And Mimi and Papa came also to support him! He definitely had his fan club. |
 |
It was also his last baseball game - this is the league that he "coached" with his Daddy |

I still can't get over that she has curls! |

These next few pictures make my heart so happy. EB has come so far this year in his comfort level with the disabilities baseball league that he helped to coach. He is a natural, and truly loved his new friends unconditionally. He treated them with respect and no differently than he would treat anyone else. He was not afraid to befriend them, but loved them deeply. Here he is taking his little sister by the hand to talk to his new friend, Kim. Ellison was alittle shy, so big brother is leading her telling her that "it's okay, you don't have to be afraid, these are your friends". |

 |
Kim didn't want to play the last game. Several adults tried to get her to get off the bench and go bat. She continued to refuse the offers until Elijah Brooks walked up to her. He went and stood by her, didn't say a word, but simply extended his hand to her. She put her hand in his hand, stood up, and he led her to bat. I was stunned. The adults and myself watching just stared crying. I kept thinking of that Scripture verse that says, "and a little child shall lead them". It was a beautiful moment. |

After a VERY full but VERY fun weekend, this is what we all felt like doing! |
 |
And the sad part, having to say "goodbye" to family after such a fun weekend. This was taken right after church before Jay's family hit the road to go back to SC. This was the best picture that was taken!! EB is holding a very special guitar pick that our worship leader gave him, and Ellison is trying her best to get down. At least the moment was captured! (I think Granny was already sitting in the car) |
