"GRADUATION"

He did it! He graduated on Saturday from Seminary. Next to our wedding, Elijah Brooks' baptism, and his Ordination service, this was the most sacred event I have ever witnessed. These men are pastors now- expositors of the WORD OF GOD.  As I listened to the charges given to all of these men, I could not help but get chills myself and tremble at what I was hearing. I can't imagine how much more the men who were being charged felt. I was so proud of all of these men who have worked feverishly hard day and night at their studies to get to this point.  I had a hard time maintaining my composure as I heard my husband's name being called and watched him walk across the stage to receive his diploma...., a Seminary graduate and pastor.

It has been an incredible 3 years of our lives, full of hardship and sacrifice at every turn.  But oh, how we rejoice in God's faithful provision for us and His faithful leading us to this point. We could not have done this without the prayers and love of our family, church, and dear friends.

Jay, I am so proud of you. So proud of the man you have become...., the pastor, teacher, husband, and father.  I am honored to be your wife.

Congratulations and I love you!

What a moment...., shaking the hand of the President of the Seminary and receiving his hard-earned diploma.

Jay and one of his best friends Reid. I loved that they were sitting right next to each other.

I have seen this picture in my mind since the day we started dating. It's just what I envisioned.

Love you, Jay. Do I now call you Reverend Cousin or Cousin Reverend? These things must be decided.
