"Funny Ellison comment"...

I really do wish that we walked around recording Ellison all day long. If it were possible, I would do it. She is hysterical - truly hilarious all the time. I have not done a very good job at writing down the funny things she says and does because really, it's all the time. But I needed to write this one down tonight to remember for years to come. 

She has been wanting to read the bible story about Jesus calming the storm for the last few weeks, so we read it - again, and again, and again.  Today we were at the park and it unexpectedly starting raining on us.  She promptly climbed to the top of the slide, took her "authoritative" stance, thrust her hand out in front of her and said, "RAIN (dramatic pause), BE STILL"!!   She waited for a few seconds, dropped her arm down in utter defeat and said, "Mommy, it's not workin'".
