"Just playing outside"....
We are tying to take advantage of the long daylight while we still have it. I can tell the days are getting shorter now, so after dinner, we try to spend the last 30 minutes outside playing as a family. Elijah Brooks has been taking gymnastics for about 2 months now and absolutely loves it! He is getting ready to be "promoted" in November which is exciting. He has really enjoyed it and is doing so well. One night in the backyard, he wanted to show off his "new skill" - which completely surprised himself, me, and Jay. He just pulled himself right up on the bar and flipped. He is a cautious child, so I was surprised that he did it without assistance. I was so glad that I just happened to be sitting in the grass next to him with my camera. He is a strong little boy - although I am glad that the balance beam is a "girl's exercise", because his 11 size foot barely fits on the balance beam! Although when it comes to the rings and the parallel bars, his strength will serve him well.

I am impressed! It looks like he has learned a lot. Cute pictures.
Wow!! That's awesome. I have been wondering whether or not I should put Will in gymnastics next spring or not. I think you just answered my question. That is very impressive!
I know he is my grandson, but he is athletic, bright, winsome, charming, handsome, sensitive and loving all wrapped up in a package which gives me unexpressible joy. Go EB. I love you, E=Daddy
