On Saturday afternoons, we like to visit this beautiful barn about 2 miles from our house so that Elijah Brooks can see and pet the resident horses. We have become quite good friends with these beautiful animals and always take them some carrots and apples to eat. Elijah Brooks squeals with delight when they rub their noses on him! It has become something that we really enjoy doing as a family and look forward to on Saturday's.

Those are the best memories to make :) You should get a professional to take some family pics of y'all in front of that barn before you move. That would be such a pretty picture. congrats on the move! I know what you mean about Montgomery. Once I left, I said I would NEVER return. Too many bad memories, but then I thought about the good memories and the good people and the fact that my family is there and even though we won't move there, I can't say never if a job opportunity arose. Being close to family becomes so much more important after having children.
Elijah, your Dad's ears favor the ears on those horses. Thanks for sharing these pictures - they are great, and will be wonderful memories as well later one -even more meaningful. We never fully realize what we have until we no longer have it. Love, Dad (E-Daddy)
